So far have managed to keep the tree alive, phew! Peonies struggled with the heatwave, the weeds have been a lot but had a good weeding session yesterday, pulled about 5 brambles out from behind the climbing rose, that was fun! There’s been a lot of bindweed tendrils coming through the fence from the house behind!
Picked my first harvest of blackberries today, at least the brambles give something back 😆
@zugenie, I couldn't resist bobbing in to say how very impressed I am at how much effort you have put in and how much you have achieved in such a short space of time. It looks absolutely amazing and I hope it gives you everything you had hoped for. Well done!
I've just read back a few pages and am exhausted reading about all the hard work you have put in over the past few months. But it is paying off - your garden is looking lovely! Congratulations to you!
Hi everyone!!! I’ve been away from the forum for a bit. The garden isn’t looking it’s finest at the moment but I started clearing some weeds and planted some miniature iris and crocus bulbs before the frost came. I am enjoying how the border looks in the frost!
The fence on the right of the garden is being replaced in feb, so I think the next job is going to be the veg beds!!
