Hazel, I intend taking some of my coloured tree ornaments to the Charity Shop - but later in the year as they probably won't want them in January I did get three new baubles as a present from my Bestie this year. They look like balls of wool. I put them straight onto the tree.
Chive, I glad that you all had a happy day with your Mum yesterday and it was lovely to hear that SGL had a super day too.
Its my sister's birthday today and she and all her family including the grand children are going up to Grasmere for a few days. I am sure that they will have a great time as long as the weather is kind to them.

SGL, December is a very busy birthday month for me. My sister-in-law in Australia and her daughter have their birthdays on the 29th. This was also my Mum's birthday and today was also the birthday of one of our friends from the Connie Crew, sadly no longer with us but fondly remembered. My thoughts exactly about the Christmas things SGL. We will have to remind one another about October time.
