I am forming the impression that our political masters don't actually do any work, they are just in one long party to congratulate themselves on how hard they are working. I'm sure that's not really true.

    Is it?

Out of over 100 invited to the latest revealed "gathering", @raisingirl, it is reported that around 40 attended - some obviously had respect for the rules, themselves and their constituents! (Or maybe they didn't fancy a trip to Bargain Booze on the way!)

I watched the Tory apologist MP for Broxbourne on channel 4 News. The Rev William Collins from Pride and Prejudice came to mind.

Heard a Tory saying you have to judge people 'in the round', so Boris doesn't have to resign as the good stuff outweighs the bad.Hmmmm - let me think about that one. I hope the police applied that rule to the people who were fined for breaking Covid rules. I think if I had been fined, I'd be contacting my legal bunch about an appeal if Boris gets away with this latest faux pas (obviously assuming that the inquiry finds he has something to answer for).

PMQT today seems like a must watch. What odds Boris just stands up, blusters a bit, blames Kier for dithering over something, mentions how good the vaccine roll out was/is, and bangs (hits with his hand rather than any other connotation) the desk a few times. And that will be that fixed. Sorted. My 'Boris Is A Super Hero' badge has been polished ready.

They are expecting a huge audience to be watching PMQ's today, not many people watch it usually.

Wordle: co.uk domain, American spelling. I was really hoping that wouldn't be the case. Forwarned is forearmed I suppose.
