My old Pyrex jug has finally cracked. The measurements were Imperial and Metric ones, so I reckon it's got to be at least 30 years old if not more. Hope I can get another one, I still don't think in metric.
I've got 2 newish Pyrex jugs, both have metric and Imperial measurements on. I think most jugs sold in the UK still do.
For the first time ever I've left a one-star review on Trustpilot. I ordered a digital timer switch (for a Christmas present) from a company called Incredibledirect.com near the end of November, and was too quick looking at reviews - they had a 4 point something rating on their website, and I didn't find the Trustpilot reviews until too late. The timer hasn't arrived, and they're not responding to my emails. Trustpilot gives them 1.7 now... Â
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
My ice gripper shoe thingies were due to be delivered Fri/Sat but weren't so checked the Amazon website last night. Apparently they had been delivered on Wednesday to my open porch (we haven't got one) and I had signed for them. Oh no, they weren't and I didn't. Notified the supplier and have to give them 48 hours to respond.Â

Was it Hermes by any chance ?  I have every sympathy with the job, but there's no excuse for lying. I had exactly the same problem - they even had the cheek to put the photo of parcels lying in full view of the front door and stating it was in a porch.Â
Not advertising, but I got a set of digital timers (if you mean electrical socket timers rather than kitchen cooking timer) from Argos recently. They are quite good although the random function could do with a start and end time rather than that being fixed.
Thanks, @steveTu. I specifically wanted a 24-hour timer to wake us up in the morning - we have a kettle in the bedroom, and bring in teapot, mugs etc so we can have a waking-up cuppa. A 24-hour timer allows us to set an exact time, very useful if we need to get up at 3am to catch a ferry from Dublin at 8... not done that since Covid, mind! Our previous timer gave up after 20 years' service, and the only replacement available locally was a 7-day timer, like yours only manual.
Not too expensive thanks @Fairygirl - but I resent someone pocketing my €20 (inc postage) without sending me the goods...
Hope you get somewhere with your non-delivery, @Lizzie27...

Huh, wanted a wok,Wilko sale, hubby checked on the tefal site, all said they were suitable for induction. Went to town, almost 10 miles round trip plus paying to park. Every single one is marked Not suitable for induction!! Fuming. Had to get rid of the cast iron one, with my hand trouble, couldn't even lift it empty.

I hope it wasn't too expensive @L@Liriodendron
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
It may well be Hermes but thought Amazon used their own drivers.
