    Hi all

Used to love my skiing, until I got crook, always my favourite holiday, so hope you have a great time @dordogne_damsel.

Still hoeing it down here, ark building soon.

  • I enjoyed skiing a long time ago โ€ฆ just the gentle stuff โ€ฆ but then I snapped my ACL โ€ฆ skiingโ€™s not a suitable activity for someone whose knee will bend in the wrong direction at the least opportunity ๐Ÿ˜–ย

Morning all. Two disturbed nights in a row, and feeling gloomy. No real excuse either, so Iโ€™m now feeling guilty, knowing what some of you are going through.ย
OH still out for the count, so Iโ€™ve been amusing myself by trawling through the Ikea and Dunelm websites for new curtains. Would help if Iโ€™d gone and measured the windows first.ย
Hope everyone has a reasonable to good day.

Any sign of @uff yet this morning? ย Wondering how Wee Uff is today โ€ฆ
I'm here Dove, just answering another thread first.
Wee Uff is still looking sorry for himself which is a bit disconcerting on my part because usually, he's the happiest dog I've ever met. He doesn't just wag his tail, his whole back end wags. Not got that back yet. He didn't even watch me eat breakfast. Just about to get his so I'll know then how he feels.ย

Morning all, mild and cloudy today. It's funny isn't it about skiing, I have never been and and never wanted to, yet here I am looking out over the range of Pyrennes with the Pic du Midi to my right with the observatory on the top and all the snow you could wish for. I just love the views that I have, nothing more!ย
Off to SM this morning which will be busy before New Year's Eve.
Catch up with you all later.

I was a nervous skier but 1st OH and the children loved it. That's what did my knee in, a twisting fall. We went to Bareges a few times which is very near the Pic du Midi.

His nibs ate his chicken and rice with antibiotics mixed in with it. Not with as much gusto but it's a step forward.ย
I've decided that I'm going to have to buy him a soft muzzle to wear when he's doing his quartering and exploring to stop him from eating stuff that he shouldn't. I mentioned it to the vet yesterday and she was in favour of it.ย

  • Glad to hear he's eating a bit, if not with his usual gusto @Uff ... a soft muzzle sounds a really good idea :)ย  Hope he's back to his normal happy self very soon.ย
