State of The Union on BBC I player. 10x10 minute episodes, set basically in a pub, it's a comedic take on a couple going through counselling. Excellently done and well acted.
And if you never watched Staged with Tennant and Sheen that was a humorous take on lockdown.

I liked Ghosts as well though - and What We Do In The Shadows - so that sets my level!

    Hello all.

Peaky Blinders isn't for me, I'm more of a Call the Midwife and Vicar of Dibley person.

I seem to have spent most of the morning chatting to family and OH on the phone.
I've found the crackers in the loft to take to Son 2's on the 25th.

Dusted the sitting room. The sun was streaming through the French windows showing up the dust, but I only did it a week ago. Must hang up the washing. The landing is a good place for that in the winter, heat from the wood stove goes up the stairs.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Loved State of the Union,ย
Hate call the midwife ( too religious) , and Murder in Paradise (Too silly ) .
Peaky Blindersย  ( too violent )
I've seen all the old Repair Shop.ย
    Love Sewing Bee.
I'm tempted to watch a few Ghosts and see how I feel about it.

That looks gorgeous Nanny Beech. After you mentioned it I looked for a recipe but your pic looks better than the online ones.ย

I recommend โ€˜Ghostsโ€™ @Hostafan1. The writers and actors are from the Horrible Histories childrenโ€™s show, which is also brilliant.

Try โ€œTwo Doors Downโ€ similar to The Royle Family or Gavin and Stacey.ย

I hope everyone is doing ok. Just back from present delivery to sister and niece. Their house is like Santaโ€™s Grotto! All very exciting for children and exhausting for the adults this festive lark.ย

Coffee, pastel de Nata and jigsaw time here now.ย

    Take care all.ย

Hello all, murky, grey but mild here. Even drizzled when I walked back from the paper shop. Not many walkers around today. I still haven't got the decs or tree up yet or baked the mincepies, not sure what I've been doing all morning, obviously not enough. Had long chats with both son and daughter about the arrangements, all changed from yesterday, nut enjoyably so. Hope to get a walk along the promenade in Bournemouth to see the sea whilst we're there.ย

Looks like the covid data is more encouraging this morning.

    I'd better crack on.ย

We enjoyed Sandilands and The Cockfields โ€ฆ not deep and meaningful but good to unwind to, funny and some bits are so true to life โ€ฆ we all know someone like that! ๐Ÿคญ
