    Hello folks.

Keep warm and cosy (or cool for Pat). Milder on the weekend (so rain then).

I’ve just made up some parcels of goodies for my team mates who are working on Christmas Day. Still don’t feel festive though.

    Night all. Stay safe.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • It’s ok @AuntyRach you don’t have to feel festive until after my son’s birthday which is tomorrow. Christmas doesn’t start here until after that 😉

Sweet dreams everyone …  sleep tight 😴

My Norfolk cousin’s birthday is Christmas Eve,  I think it just used to get lost in the Christmas excitement.

Hello Forkers.Another hot day here, but it’s nearly evening, so it should cool down a bit soon.

Good morning all brrrrr!!! 🥶 ☕️ -2C it’s the coldest night/morning of the year (so far). All the cars and roofs are covered in a thick layer of rime and I’ve pulled the throw up over the duvet 😊

I’ll pass your kind wishes to my son a bit later … he has the day off so I expect he’s allowing himself a well deserved lie-in. I spoke to him yesterday and he’s going to @WonkyWomble ‘s to collect birthday presents and cake and she’s made him a favourite meal of Moroccan lamb which he’ll heat and eat at home. He’s keeping at arms reach from them ‘just in case’ as, given his job,  he doesn’t want to be responsible for infecting them and spoiling their Christmas or stopping them seeing Wonky’s MIL who is elderly and frail. He’ll have taken a PCR test 48 hours before he comes here and a LFT on the day itself.

    Hi all
    Bitter here as well.
Happy birthday to your son, @Dovefromabove
Collecting Christmas cheese today, always a vital part of celebration. Special Gins also arriving, so all should be well.

Think I might have missed your OHs birthday @Dovefromabove

    Good morning!

A balmy 4°C and rain expected over Christmas.  Oh well, the fire will be lit, but the walk along the beach could be off.

Happy Birthday to your son @Dovefromabove

Evening @Pat E   Just been talking to my friend in Melbourne.  Summer weather, eh?

    Enjoy your preparations today, everyone.

Hi everyone. Yes Tui. I’m sure your friend in Melbourne had a few words to say about the hot weather.

We’ve just opened the front door and the breeze was so cold I had to close it again. 🙄 darn it. Can’t get organised.
