Ha Ha @Hostafan1  He sounds like my late OH.  Leave them alone for a minute and .... wham!  Snore city!!

  • Thanks @punkdoc, hopefully if no-one else is pos we can just delay things by a few days.  It's most annoying as she has been so careful because she knows she is vulnerable.
Hoping you are coming through OK now as you have had a rough time with it  lately.

Hi folks,  Have been cleaning and tidying today and getting all the washing up to date.  Presents are wrapped and cards written and sent so I'm all ready for Sunday.  Mind you haven't had my Covid test back yet so things could still be scuppered.
Sorry people are having to change their Christmas plans.  Sometimes I wonder if things will ever be normal again.

Chin up @Yviestevie.  The medieval plague went away eventually and so did so-called Spanish flu so I expect Covid will fade a way sooner or later.   Trouble is, there's likely to be something else to follow and plague us in the not too distant future.

Good luck for Sunday and a clear test and a successful op.

Evening folks. Damp dreary day. Saw my youngest son (carer for) he had his booster Monday. His fuel provider went bust,he was put with e on. I know we were chatting on the forum about smart meters. We refused to have one, after many years of various meter problems. He said he was paying £52 a month, they wanted to increase to £83,he refused, their paperwork assured, they want to make sure you get regular accurate reading,so you don't pay more than you need to. He decided to have a smart meter installed. He asked me how much was he informed he was in credit after ONE month,he said I'd never guess.  I assured him I would,er no,sit down people!!! Fourteen hundred pounds,he says he's having it removed. They also gave him 4 bills all with different account numbers

  • Good morning all … 😊 ☕️ Hope everyone’s had a restful night.

Not such a great night here … weird dreams about taking our black lab to the vet for a big op. We had him when @WonkyWomble was about 8 years old!!! So to get that dream out of my head I noodled on here a bit and zapped a couple of spammers 🎯

Today I’m loading up the car with birthday and Christmas presents and son’s birthday cake and taking them to Wonky who is the Birthday and Christmas Elf … then I’ll head out towards the Suffolk coast and swing by Bro’s farm and drop off their Christmas present (a hamper of Norfolk cheeses).

Wow, slept through till 7am. Can’t believe it. Can’t remember any dreams, either. Haven’t done that for a while.
  • We must have swapped sleep modes @Ergates … I hope I get mine back tonight 😉
