Morning all, cold and wet and looks to be the same for days to come. Lovely strawberries @Pat E and that cake looks very good @Nanny Beach Have a wonderful time with your family @Hostafan1 and of course take plenty of rest @punkdoc.
OH managed to download a calendar for me when the printer wanted to give up after "June" just need to find a way to keep it together without a binding machine. I really must write my Christmas cards today.

Morning all. Stayed awake long enough to finish the book, then back to sleep till 9am. Hope everyone has a good day, safe journey, and whatever else you have lined up.ย
Good thing about thinking through problems in the night is that I occasionally come up with a solution I hadnโ€™t considered before. Now planning to move a small cupboard to the garage, and redeploying some garden stuff from the utility room. Just need to check the measurements!

Hello everyone.ย  Sunny morning so far which was unexpected.ย  I too had a wakeful night with lots of reading so didn't surface till 10am.ย  Have been busy making bread and starting a Borrowdale tea bread for the neighbours (broken wrist so not easy cooking) and that meant chopping apricots and prunes and preserved ginger cos I have to go off piste with the mixed fruit here.

Rain and potential storms expected all afternoon and evening so we'll not go to the Xmas market after all.ย  ย Need to put a waistband on OH's trousers and hem them then I can do some sewing for me tho I have an Xmas patchwork I'd like to tackle too.

Crikey - rain has just started and is coming down in stair rods.ย  The chooks won't like that!ย  ย Stay safe and warm everyone.ย  ย

Happy December everyone!ย  I'm all behind but have caught up with all your posts.ย  Happy belated birthday Granddad ( @Hostafan1 ).ย  Hope everyone has caught up with their sleep now.ย  Nice to see you still here on this thread @punkdoc.ย  Safe flight @Busy-Lizzie you should be in the air as I write this.
OH has had booster and I have at at last planted the apple tree.ย  My booster is on Tuesday as I didn't want to risk side effects for tomorrow's Street Market.ย  I need to be on the street at 6.45am tomorrow. I know that's like the middle of the morning for many of you and you have done a full wash and baked a cake by then, but I am not an early bird.ย  But I have been getting up earlier each day to get in training and have been sleeping well - just hope I get some sleep tonight as it will be a long day tomorrow.ย ย
Nice and sunny here at the moment - let's hope it stays that way!
    Strictly tonight!
