Oh gosh @Dovefromabove I remember Marian the doll with her emerald green? Knitted dress.... she's manic! The stuff of nightmares!
  • You should’ve seen her in her red raincoat, rain hat and shiny black wellies @WonkyWomble 😧

As a child I had both dolls, which I loved, and cars,Dinky toys,a garage my late Father made, hand painted,is still in the family being used by my cousin's great grandson. A peddle car, was never allowed a bike. I had a go cart also made by my Father.

    Thank you.
I spoke with our GP already.
As I wrote, we are scheduled for a first Dr visit together, the psychiatrist, tough no idea if this is the best kind of mental health care professional.

Thanks for pointing it out but I don't expect hurtful comments here. If they come, they come.

Good luck, it’s a stressful time for you as well as your child.  There are lots of reasons this might be happening so it’s reasonable to assess their state.

My daughter is a little older but also going through identity crises, which does seem to be the focus of teens and pre-teens at the moment. I try to see similarities to my own adolescence - the things we agonise over may be different but the agony is likely the same.

When all is said and done, we all find our own way in this world. I hope they find contentment.
