Didyw, do you have a battery charger for your car? OH used to put ours on a trickle charge every now and then during lockdown when we werenāt using the car much.
Our second car got used even less, and the battery went completely flat. We were advised that once the battery goes completely flat, itās āinnardsā start to oxidise or something, and although you can get often get it temporarily charged up again, the battery is sufficiently damaged that it wonāt hold the charge.
Luckily, we had bought the battery a couple of years ago, and it had a five year guarantee. OH took the battery out, popped it in the boot of the primary car and took it back to the famous car parts superstore we bought it from. They tested it and gave us a new replacement battery on the spot. Very impressed with that.
Im guessing itās not the car thatās the problem, more the need to āmaintainā the battery life, if not by more regular and longer journeys, then using a charger at home to stop it going flat. I suspect you may need to buy a new battery first.
Who says the electorate don't think they deserve better than this?Ā Finding a decent alternative isn't easy if you look at the current shower in Parliament, and I mean all political parties!

To be fair, it was only the Tories who voted him party leader. Says much about the rest of their own party, does it not?
