  • Morning @Pat E morning @Hostafan1

I'm up early to make cakes, the dreaded Christmas rush starts here. 😱😅

I did find a self saucing chocolate sponge pudding recipe yesterday that worked wonderfully, very pleased with the result.

    Have a good day all.

Off to visit Hubby shortly. I normally leave around 6.30 as it takes an hour to drive there.

Don’t envy you the drive, Hosta. Still, at least you can get to spend a bit of time with him.

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️
A beautiful morning here in Norfolk … we’ve been sitting in bed with our morning cuppas discussing some of life’s great conundrums … how, why and when did ‘sleep’ evolve … and when did the optimism of my youth (50s/60s) turn into the pessimism of OH’s youth (70s/80s) and what was the tipping point? I think another coffee is needed …

Good to see you @D0rdogne_Damsel 😊 … if we could harness your energy we might have a solution to climate change … we simply need to power the world with cakes 😁

Viruses are horrid @punkdoc … take it steady … how’s the throat?

    Morning Punkdoc and DD.

Sorry you’ve got to work so hard DD, but everyone is very proud of your achievements.

Punkdoc, I hope you’re feeling a bit better.

The cloud that appeared on the south end of our valley this afternoon developed into heavy rain that I’m fairly sure contained ice. Even I could hear it on the roof which is very rare.

     I rain now though.

  • That’s a very dramatic looking cloud @Pat E  :o

Hi Dove, yes, it certainly made itself felt when it passed over. All gone now though.🙄

Good morning.  Dull and grey here and very still.  Cleaning this morning.  There are times when h*work can no longer be ignored but we can play this pm when it will have warmed up a bit.

Love that cloud photo @Pat E.  Plenty here but just a blanket with no definition and no rain either for this coming week.
