I hope sore arms are recovered, that T'Bird gets her ears unbunged (lovely to have a twitchy dreaming cat visit), that Hazel's and her OH's backs are better and that Debs and her fiancé continue to recover from Covid. If you look in Yvie, I hope that things are fine with you and the family.
p.s. it could be Thanks In Advance for Hazel's post.
p.p.s. or Thanks In Anticipation even!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Morning @bluebellsinthewild@Ladybird4 and all to follow Rosie do hope you had a good night's sleep and you're feeling better this morning. LB, have I missed something, has someone had a TIA Have just read back and can only see Hazel asking about it. Its Friday again already, these days are going far too fast. Only 36 sleeps till the festive day 😱 I've hardly got anything and I've no idea what to get 🤦🏻♀️ Hardly any shops to find things in either. Need another cup of tea 😉☕☕
Good morning everyone .I hope everyone who is under the weather is feeling brighter .Its very windy and wet here.I had better get a move on I have a grocery delivery this morning .
Good Morning Bluebells, LB & SGL and all to follow, Bluebells You sound like you are up & ready this morning, I hope you have a good day ahead, LB I think Hazel was hoping for a reminder to get a new book and thanking in advance, I certainly hope so anyway🤞Hope you have some fair weather today for getting outdoors, SGL Hope you had a better nights sleep. I have no gifts bought yet either we are just having conversations about ideas.
Morning SGL, Ruby and Chive. No one has had a TIA SGL, as far as I know. It was just a cryptic comment on Hazel's last post. I think I might make an early SM shop this morning. Like you SGL, I cannot believe its Friday already.

Morning, Ruby and Chive 🙋🏻♀️ I had a good night's sleep thank you. Aww Chive so glad it's not just me, I really am stuck for ideas this year. Usually much more organised, but lack of shops don't help. Really missing Debenhams, so many things under one roof! Oh that's good LB. Was a bit worried. Have a good day everyone
Morning all. Only 2 hours to go until I can (hopefully) stop wriggling my finger in my ear to try and unbung it. Very annoying habit but I can't stop myself - like playing with a wobbly tooth with your tongue....
Hazel - don't worry about it - I knew what you meant straight away. Maybe LB hadn't had her second cup of tea🤣
She's right about predictive text and other typos though - some of them are weird and some of them are really funny. I wrote a whole post on the merits of big PANTS in a small garden (obviously I meant 'plants')🤣
What sort of books do you like? I enjoy the Peter James 'Roy Grace' series and I quite like some of Peter May's stuff set in the Scottish Isles.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
OH has gone for his third jab. He had made an appointment in December then the surgery contacted him to say he could have the jab in a nearer town today.
It looks quite a nice day outside.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hello all. Back from 'sco. It was lovely when I arrived but Hades as I left. I normally go early Saturday but I suspect it is going to be a total nightmare any time for the next 30 odd days. Sorry to cause all the kerfuffle this morning (you were right T'Bird, I was one shy of my usual liquid refreshment). I did edit my post later and gave two alternatives to my immediate response
My favourite reading at the moment is Richard Osman T'Bird but I do like all of Ann Cleeves' Vera and Shetland stories. I've dipped into Peter May's writings and I have enjoyed Stieg Larsson. I have read most of Stephen King's novels. Too many books to mention to be honest. I just like reading.
Personally speaking I can definitely see the benefits of big pants in the garden. Great for storing your garden twine, pruners and clematis clips!
p.s. Sorry Busy, I also meant to say that that was good news for your OH.
