Good morning LB, SGL and Dove.

LB, I didn't bought persimmon tree yet. I'll see at Saturday in one GC and if I don't find I'll order on internet. Rojo brillante is sort which I want.

My hand is fine and I don't feel any pain now. I only made one mistake with aftershave and open cut. SM is done and I have whole day to rest and read.

Good morning SGL, Dove, Ruby and Ante. Another bad night's sleeping for you SGL. I was awake early but managed to drop off again. Still got up at 06:00 though - desperate for a cuppa!
Ruby, I hope that you hear from RosieBB soon and, as I said earlier, that all is much better today.
Ouch ouch Ante, I bet the aftershave really stung when it landed on your cut. I looked up your persimmon. It has some very interesting fruit. As far as I know, I have never eaten a persimmon but they sound delicious.

LB, I tried persimmon fruit and didn't like it. Everybody around me love them, and you must see persimmon tree covered with fruit in winter. Pure white snow and bright orange fruits, remarkable.

Hello all. Not been on here as have been quite poorly. Test confirmed it was COVID and itโ€™s no fun. Not as bad as flu but 2 weeks after my first symptoms I am still coughing. Sense of smell starting to come back though.ย
I had booked this week off to clear allotment etc but not done anything. Fiancรฉ is also poorly so we have had a lazy week.ย
Oh well good to get it over with before Christmas etc.ย

    Good morning all.

@Rubee are you and Rosie friends or relations?

I slept badly, probably not exercising enough at the moment.

We are going out to a fish restaurant today with friends.

Sorry you've been ill, @debs64. Did you have the vaccine?

Morning Chive and Debs. Lovely news about your Mum Chive. When I injured my ankle in a squash match I had to do a lot of physio which was actually more painful than the injury. I had one of those strong rubber bands I had to put under a table leg and then work pulling against it. I had to stand on a wobble board which felt most peculiar. The plus point of going to physio was a lot of the local rugby players recovering from various injuries were also there so I was in good company.
Debs, my brother-in-law has just got over his Covid. He was very disappointed as he was supposed to be making a speech and presentation at Twickenham after last weekend's match and had to hand that over to another executive. At least he can get down there this weekend for various meetings. He just had a bit of a sniffle and lost his sense of smell but, like you, its coming back now. Good to hear from you again.
