You and me both @Hostafan1, although not for 3 hours. Had a rotten night last night so nodded off in the middle of Move to the Country and missed the ending. Was very confused when I woke up in the middle of an entirely different programme.
I had to force myself to stay awake and get up. Could easily have dropped back off.
A very mixed bag of weather the last 48 hours. Missed the thunder at 6am though. Just home from puppy visit - he is a real tonic and unofficial therapy dog (Who knew that being licked on the ears is therapy?!).
Just made apple crumble if anyone fancies? Did an Eve’s pudding (basically sponge on top of stewed apples) last week - both good.
Take care all. Wonder what will be said at 5pm briefing??
Feeling much brighter over the last few days and managed a bit of gardening time here and there. Nice morning volunteering with the new mums today. Very glad I'm past the baby stage, I love them but it's so hard, I really feel for these pandemic mums.
Managed a short nap before the school run this afternoon- there must be something in the autumn air!
Got the grass cut, front and back. Waited nearly all day for it to be dry enough. It was a bit wet underfoot but I think it will be OK. I grow flowers for cutting on the Allotments. Haven't been for a week, hoping they will still be OK.
Ended up staying for lunch with my friend F. She lives in the village where my first OH is buried in the cemetery. @Lizzie27, my chrysanths were yellow but they come in different colours!
Just filled in my Passenger Locator Form for my journey to the UK on Friday. Gosh, what a palaver!
Tipping with rain outside, haven't had rain for a while.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
