Good morning all 😊 ☕️ … hope the visit goes well @Hostafan1 🤗
OH is just whizzing down to Wrose on his bike … we need some gruyere and a few other essentials (cauliflower cheese for supper).  It’s good to get out and about early before them there others are about 😉 (says I, posting from the comfort of a big bed 😂).

Morning all 😀.  Volunteering for me today - looks like its going to be a dry one 👍🏻.  Garden was still looking great last time I was there a fortnight ago - will be interesting to see how it has fared with all the torrential rain we’ve been having.  Things are certainly looking a bit flattened here …..but then my staking is not a patch on theirs 😳.  They’ve promised to let me help with that this spring so I can learn some tricks of the trade.

Morning folks, put most of my posting so far on curmudgeons, sun shining Wednesday out with friend for coffee Day,she wants to go to a garden centre only for the coffee, she rarely buys plants. Nice forecast. Youngest daughter wants to visit Saturday, forecast is 18c for the weekend.

I had a smile at the tales of ladies clothing sizes.  When I was wandering along the aisles in Aldi today, I noticed some ladies undies (pants) so thought ok, I might have a look at them.  Guess what, they were all size 8 or 10. Obviously that might have worked for me 70 years ago, but not likely now. 😳

It’s time for the afternoon news now, so I’ll have a look in later.

  • Morning everyone,  dry bright start here. We are off to France next week, this is the last of our long postponed trips from you know what.  We are going to Paris on Eurostar, then a river cruise on the seine.  So need to get some Euro and a few other bits.  For once it looks like we have timed it right with the easing of the travel restrictions.

    Good morning all.

I hope you have a great time in France @Allotment Boy.

I'm going to a friend's for coffee this morning and to see her new kitchen.

I hope to plant bulbs this afternoon. Sunny now but there is a chance of rain in the middle of the day.

    Good morning Forkers

Dry and sunny, so need to try and pull up some weeds after the rain.
Have a pleasant day all and go easy on the Prosecco!!

  • Just had txt & booked my covid booster for tomorrow,   we don't go till Tuesday, so if I have any reaction I should be OK by then. It's looking like I am on a roll 🙃🤪

Pity, Dove. They looked to be rather comfortable.
