I had to put on my waterproof jacket and use my umbrella when I went up to the post box a moment ago. It is persisting down here so outdoor activities are curtailed at present. I have some birthday presents I need to wrap so that is a displacement activity which will keep me from the dreaded H/W.

Morning Hazel. I hope that they find the source of the odd noise you have been getting in your car. I was hoping for dry weather but you will see from my last post, that has not happened. At least the Beeb weather forecast is correct

    Morning all,

It's quite bright here. I'd really like to get a couple of the fence panels in today but the weather and/or work might scupper that. We shall see.

Good afternoon . Leeds has a bad weather warning out for today .At the moment it is just drizzling. Thunder is forecast. I quite like thunder storms as long as they don’t do any damage .
I hope the bad weather moves on quickly ,I want to get my rambling roses under control.
👋🏼hi Dove ,I hope you have bought some interesting plants.
  • LB it’s raining here too.  Visited the rellies after gas service early this morning and brought some cat litter for Alfie’s litter box.  I’ve had a shower, quickly dried myself and lounging in my winter dressing gown.  I think I’ll stay like that and do Lily’s tv tomorrow.  Have a good day everyone.
  • Hazel I hope all will be sorted with your car.  Good job your oh was dressed early.

    Hello all.

I went to the plant nursery this morning to see if they had an Amelanchier. They had Amelanchier Canadensis so I bought one and an Abelia Edward Goucher to plant where the hydrangea died. They had had a recent sort out and there were a lot of new shrubs.

It's 25° and feels more, heavy and close.

Hi folks, slept for over 10 hours last night.  Still exhausted after that trip to Warwick
Castle.  Getting old sucks.  Gabriel is fine but Jonah is still poorly, at least he is drinking now, just can't cope with food.
    No plans for today.
