    Its a most delicious French dish Ruby. I 'discovered' it on one of our French holidays and fell in love with it. Basically its thinly sliced potato, ham pieces and onions in a cheesy melt made with the French cheese, Reblochon. You can also add white wine to it.

    Ooops meant to say - lovely to see you Hazel - you weren't there when I did my first posting. Sorry to hear life is a bit tough at the moment. As Churchill used to say - sometimes you just have to KBO.

    I add a bit of leftover cooked chicken to mine sometimes LB 😋😋

    That is an excellent idea SGL. Must try that. If I can't get hold of Reblochon I use Brie - ideally Brie de Meaux. I actually like peas with mine
