It does look like Emily Brontë. All pictures under it are mixed up though.

  • @newbie77 - it’s probably a page that their website person was just starting and accidentally pressed “publish” instead of “save as draft” which is why it looks unfinished.

They later realised and took the page down.

So it might not be the only one being released.

'Elizabeth' was under a category named 'Royal' roses.. so need not be the only new one.. there was atleast a couple more new blogs which had the 404 error.. one of the roses looked more open type (may be lark ascending) and another one light pink.. I could be wrong though as this is based on the cover page of the blogs..

Agree it looks like a looser form of Emily Bronte, which I already have so kind of no point. Await the next one(s)!

Yes, I agree, it looks more like Emily Brontë rose. I just got a glimpse and it was the soft-shell pink colour which captured my attention.

And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

Love the sleuthing! I thought they might go for a royal name this year, a few have.  Not enamoured with pic but will see. Im calling 3 new releases as my bet!

Pretty beales one, very crisp, love those yellow stamens as it opens.
  • Duke of Edinborough maybe?

Presumably not a hastily renamed Duke of York 😬

I have moved away all loose light objects from garden. Not sure what else can I do to prepare for tomorrow's weather.

My arbour blew over again last night. Unfortunately my Claire Austin was tied to it.
I'm surprised the rose wasn't yanked out of the ground, thank heaven for clay soil.
I had to disentangle and untie it so my kind neighbour could lay the arbour flat on the ground, a precaution against storm Eunice tonight/tomorrow.
