@daisym Omori's post makes more sense and that is what the nurseries advice as well.. I planted straight away coz I wanted to get over with it and place the pots in their final place..

That would certainly be a lot easier and there is room to add more soil. I'll just do that tomorrow in the garage out of the weather. At least it won't need watered if I leave it outside. Thanks all for the help. I pruned the two roses I have in the garden last week by two-thirds. Both still had buds but they were unlikely to come to anything.  I have 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' and a Rosa Golden Wedding 'Arokris'. Both were beautiful last summer and very fragrant.

possibly website needs an update.. does not allow me to check more details about it..
Also they have some new blogs as well, which does not open.. not sure if they are all the new varieties..
as such the page is all messed up with wrong labels under the roses..

And peter beales has a sea shell pink for 2022, fragrant...

  • Hope you all survive the storms alright, it’s awful here!

Would be very surprised if the fence panels survive the next couple of days.

I saw it earlier but the link now leads to error 404. That didn't last long.
Anyway, if it is the only rose they release this year, I think I'll pass.

@cooldoc I too saw the webpage on that link. It looked all messed up. In my opinion, the new release looked more like Queen of Sweden rose.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)
