@JessicaS I have it as well but it’s new for me so can’t speak much on it. Hopefully it will settle in more this year.

I find HMF very useful, especially if registered.. they don't send spam to you or anything..  I keep an up to date list of my roses too..

@daisym Do keep us posted on how it develops. Folks here might have views on whether to keep it on in a pot for a while or to plant it straight out....

A bit late to post any red roses I guess.. hope everyone had a nice valentines day.. mine was all work work work.. busy till next week... will pop in here every now and then.. best part being lots of posts to go through.. that anticipation to see more roses and learn new things here...

Having said that, I forget who had which rose, by the time I finish going through all the posts :#

@Tack how did you find Birthe Kjaer?  I was disappointed with my red from poulsen (one in a million), but I think it was the pests that got them...

@Marlorena That is an extensive list you got there.. <3  I am a HMF member too, should explore options to create lists etc..

@daisym I too got my Eastcroft potted ones a month ago.. The soil will be very loose as they are essentially bare roots.. I potted mine straight away but some wait for a bit on the same pot they came in, atleast till summer..

Thanks @cooldoc It hasn't stopped raining hard since my rose arrived so it is still in the same pot. I will pot it up into a slightly bigger one as the place I was going to plant it is pretty soggy at the moment. Hopefully, the rain will stop before the summer!

@daisym Just a thought, but you could leave in it that original pot and just top up the soil to the top (it will settle a bit), and then plant it out later this year once it’s ready.

  •  Not a great picture but I am very excited to receive my new addition. Its a bare root Clarence House that I chose after seeing it mentioned by someone on here. I have just stuck it in the pot for a day or two until the pending storms pass and I can get it into the ground.

@cooldoc I only bought BK potted in mid July last year so it's a bit early to say. I like the blooms, they don't fade and the upright plant stayed healthy, so good so far. I haven't made any notes on scent but seem to remember I liked it.  I'd like it to flower more this year, fingers crossed.
