@Tack, mine had two cluster of blooms that just finished yesterday and has some buds now. It doesn't flower as much as Desdemona, but yes keeps flowering throughout season. It is one very healthy rose with lovely pink colour.
That is helpful thank you . DAs do seem to flower long here, of the 14 I have all are flowering a mini flush or are about to, apart from Desdemona which is finishing. I will cogitate a while longer and then hope ORA is sold out.

Most of my roses have finished flowering for this season; some flowers still on the plants are looking tired and faded. However, there is a new flush coming up in the unlabelled HT rose below:
I think this is the last of Munstead Wood - small sagging bloom. The fragrance is strong as usual.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth
@Tack Completely spotless last year, blackspotting this year. I think it will be my indicator of a good vs bad year for roses/BS. Nevertheless, I would recommend it, no doubt. I have two plants, one is 2nd year, the other one is 1st year. (photo 23/7, 90% of it is the 2nd year plant)
My Dame Judi has thrown out a 7’ cane 😐 So much for a height of 3.5’. It’s sort of close to an arch though so guess I’ll train it up the side and see what happens!
I think I need some pruning advice. This is two Westerlands against a trellis:
It has thrown up quite a few 2 meter long canes, starting from about 1 meter up. At the moment they are loose and thrown about by the wind.
- can I take those canes back a bit, and if so, when? - could I have done something earlier, for example taking some of the main branches back closer to the ground?
All (other) advice will be gratefully received of course.
@edhelka Your lovel photo tipped me over the edge and I've ordered ORA and some DA rose food, thank you. Is that the front garden spot where you had to remove an unhappy rose possibly due to the Phormum? In which case ORA is doing particularly well.
I tried both my and Fire's discount codes but DA weren't falling for it (they just accept the last entered).
I hope somebody advises you @micearguers I am always dealing with flailing The Generous Gardener canes.
@Omori, I wish we could rely on the stated heights, at least for the UK bred roses.
Chartreuse de Parme (Odyssey behind) is probably saving itself.
