@Fire you are still a youngster yet 😁 As I was getting twitchy with no gardening as rained off on my BD, hubby took me for afternoon tea, but still managed a trip into the local GC . Does anyone else consider seeds , manure, and compost as birthday presents. 🤣
I actually spent part of my 60th wandering contently around a graveyard looking for "rellies" and you can't get queerer than that. (We just happened to be passing).
Last year I fed my potted roses a handful of well rotted farmyard manure and BFB in spring and then second round in July after the first flush is toprose. BFB is an invitation for foxes though
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth
My DAs are coming today, very exciting!! I’ve used the neudorff rose and shrub feed and will continue with it, noticed they do a liquid feed too but I think I’ll stick with seaweed feed for the ones that are in pots this year.
Need to go and get some compost!! What size pot would be best for bring me sunshine do you think? It will only be in it for one year.

My friends and neighbours got together to collect money for me to buy roses. 😊
Can’t keep track anymore. I’ve got the mental age of an 11 year old though!
Happy Birthday! Sorry I didn’t spot that at first, there were too many ‘b’s in your post, I saw the B&B but missed the b-day!
