They feel like an extra gift, so late in the year. Next year will be exciting on the red rose front. I will probably get some Flanders Rose. I've no idea where new roses are going to go. Something will have to come out. I feel I need to plan borders that are actually becoming actual "borders".
It's nice to have a rose crowd locally and are getting to know each other's foibles. We have a good selection of mainly DAs spread across four streets. Several of my trials have moved on to neighbours.
nice late roses.. some we don't hear about much.. 'Twilight Zone' looks nice I must say..
..yesterday was so nice, sunbathing weather in East Anglia... not so today.. 'Golden Memories'.. 'Nathalie Nypels'.. 'Frilly Cuff'.. 'Marie Nabonnand'.. 'The Anniversary ...' 'Gruss an Aachen'.. 'Lady of Shalott'..
Thank you @Fire, i am awestruck by them, that is 4 plants and the 4th, the slightly darker one in the middle at the back, has just started flowering at over 7ft. So funny
