@Marlorena It was in a sunny position at front of the house, may be that? Will see how she performs this time.. but the scent is strong.. and thank you for recommending CB
Now out of stock, but I noticed how this picture is different from what they advertised earlier about this rose.. previously it was a darker shade of pink..

I'm glad you're happy with your rose @cooldoc it looks great, we all get different variations in colour I think, with some roses..
This is getting very confusing. One of the world's most planted roses, along with 'Peace', is 'Queen Elizabeth'.. American bred 1954, just after her Coronation. Planted throughout the Commonwealth and everywhere else, down the decades... if you ever notice a neglected 8 foot tall pink floribunda in some old garden, you can bet your life it'll be 'Queen Elizabeth'... now we have 2 more it seems..
..mind you, I think they both look nice, if I'm honest..
Im inclined to think your right @Marlorena, sounds like just one release we arent very thrilled by leaked pics of. I prefer their beautiful classic english cupped look roses. I think I will still get summer song if Elizabeth is the only new release. Feel like I need desdemona too as everyone does
Still cant work out what the one on my estate is... owners dont remember name.. very pale pink cupped english rose, shrub, healthy, no rain issues, prolific, very obviously austin but dosent have the yellow stamens of sceptered isle. Will see if I can photograph in summer, I want it... wondering if it actually is desdemona...
