  • I have a dahlia, last year was pink and white, name slips my mind, but very random, one half could be pure white, the other pink. Or just one white petal, really liked it randomness.

    This year, all pink, some buds are even double layered, but it should be a single.

    What caused the loss of white and inconsistent bud types?

    I think I'm going to have to have Waltzing Mathilda next year.  And hope what they send is the right thing - 3 dahlias ordered last year have turned out to be different from what I ordered.

    @didyw 😊  I bought mine from Crocus … as a small plant. A little self indulgence 😉

    Dahlia Karma Choc.

    @Uncle Mort  I don't think this is Karma Choc unless you have really played around with the colour filters.

    Your plant is very florierous. I definitely didn't choose a big enough pot for mine - new this year. Have you been feeding weekly?
