We're on our second Epson printer, cheap and cheerful does what we need. Prints not bad photos. We get inks locally, quarter of the price. Daughter got a HP last year for the kids school work, was surprised you have to remove paper, put back in the other way up to print both sides, hers does it automatically, but NO you can't get cheaper (substitute,) Ink

Yes you can and there's a way to make them work which we'll be trying now I've found this link - https://www.yoyoink.com/articles/how-to-make-generic-ink-cartridges-work-on-an-hp-printer/

You can buy ink to refill cartridges yourself. My nephew always did that.  :)

As I said " pigs in a trough the whole damned lot of them"
Given that MPs write their own rule book, they can all claim " I acted within the rules "
The big part of the issue is what happens to a new,  first time MP. They get schooled in the procedures and etiquette of Westminster.  IMHO that's a form of brainwashing into Westminster conformity. The huge Westminster rulebook is well and good in itself but from a documentary about new MPs  I once saw it seemed the real rules were taught by other, established MPs. Its a self repeated trough! You can go into it with the highest of ideals and within one term you've become another one of them!!!!

I've delegated it to OH @Nanny Beach but we have just replenished the ink so it may take a while.   I can print on 2 sides if I tick the right box on the PC's print options.   Maybe it depends on model.

While Blair was paid large sums at least what he did was legal.  Cameron was promoting what was effectively a ponzi scheme,  where you borrow more money to pay your debts.  He denies all knowledge so he's either lying or incompetent.  Either way it was illegal and the tax payer will probably end up paying out.

Well, we know he's incompetent ... the way he organised the Brexit referendum was a total b***s up whichever way you voted .

We should line them all up, pick a number at random, say 5, then every 5th one take all their money except 10 thousand pounds and sack them.  Then tell them to do their job properly or next week we will do it again. Different number. I expect it would concentrate their minds wonderfully. Anyone who chooses to leave can hand over all their money and do so. With 10 thousand pounds they won’t starve.

I used to have a printer designed for printing photo's but the cost of inks got to stupid levels and it would have cost over £100 for a full set of 7.  At that point I gave up and it's so cheap to get photos printed now it's a no-brainer for me.
As I don't need colour, I've bought a Brother laser printer.  Far faster printing, no need to clean the heads if the printer hasn't been used for a few weeks.
