Hmmm if someone employed by the NDN tapped into the supply wasn't he acting as the NDN's agent ... doesn't that make the NDN legally responsible?

It all sounds very suspicious to me, being aware of his record with Punkdoc. 😳
It'll be interesting to see what happens.

@punkdoc  Arm yourself with dates and all the necessary information (your bills changing drastically from before and after the NDN installed the gas to the garage) so that they can check swiftly - saves time.  Just a thought.  Best of British for that!

I've heard of people connecting their electricity to other supplies but not gas, it must have been someone who knew what they were doing!

So, NDN turned up this afternoon to check that the work had been done, I went and calmly [ ish ] explained the situation, he flew into a rage and started pushing me and generally issuing threats, very stressful and it has left Moira very frightened.
I want her to go and stay with her Sister for a few days, so she is out of the way and also because they can start to sort out what to do about their Mum, but at the moment she is not keen.
I have been to speak to our near neighbour, a retired judge, sadly he does not hold out a huge amount of hope that I can resolve this, without spending a lot of money, with no guarantees.

What a horrible situation @Punkdoc. Should you involve the police and make a complaint against NDN or would that make him even worse?

What does the gas company say?

The gas company will only say that it was done reasonably professionally.

Evening. Just woken from a nap - oops!

@punkdoc - NDN checking the work was done eh?? Checking all went smoothly was he?? I hope that’s the last you’ll see of him now. You both didn’t need that performance.

I wonder if you could scout out a few solicitors to see if they could just do some preliminary work to see if worth pursuing?

I hope you are all ok.

Evening all,  Sorry to hear about the gas problem, even when the man is moving he causes trouble.  I've had a lazy day, getting talons sorted and then gossiping with Bestie over a cuppa.  I've done an online shop to buy the ingredients for Gabriel's 3rd birthday cake.  He solemnly informed me the other day that for his birthday he wants a green cake, a green present, green apples and a green Christmas tree.
Sorry to hear about your swollen lip DD, I've joined you with a swollen little finger.  I was bit by something at the park yesterday.  Didn't see what it was but it was like a red hot needle being stuck in my finger.
Hoping to get some more furniture painted tomorrow.

Punkdoc, Do acupuncturists have to be registered with a professional body? If so, it wouldn’t do him any favours to be involved in fraud / illegal theft of neighbours power supplies. Could he get struck off for that?  Maybe he would be prepared to pay for the ‘incorrect billing’ rather than risk his future livelihood?
