Morning all, looks a lovely day out there and quite warm already. I'm waiting in for the dishwasher repairer (hopefully!) to arrive and OH is going to hobble down to the shop for the paper. I was researching new dishwashers last night and think I've decided on the simplest Bosch one, I'm mystified that some come Wi-fi enabled so one can operate them remotely! Why? Methinks more scope for them to go wrong.
The next lot of washing is already on and I'll do the ironing whilst I'm waiting, then the gardening awaits.
    Have a good day everyone.

Good morning.Ā  Late on parade as slept in after finally dropping off just before dawn.Ā  Ā Going to ask my GP for a referral to an orthopedist for the stupid knee since the stupid rheumatologist isn't helping.

Bright and sunny here with a fresh breeze so excellent day for planting.Ā  Oh weeded my rose beds yesterday and has dumped a few barrowloads of compost on them ready for me to plant my lavender, grown from cuttings and some berkheya and one or two other bits and pieces.

That's not Charlie in the photo @tui34.Ā  It's his lovely pal.Ā  Must admit I can't get excited about charcuterie and cheese or white bread unless it has a lovely seedy crust.

Shame about your snow @Pat E but maybe a sign that spring is on its way.Ā  Ā here I have my first autumn daffodil in flower - OH found a wee bunch lurking in the compost heap and pitted them up.Ā  Ā The ones in the ground are still just in leaf and the ones on the dry side of our front wall aren't showing at all.

Thanks Dove. Notice how dry the ground is Dove. It doesn’t seem to bother them. šŸ˜³šŸ™„

The little self seeded violets are white and I can’t remember where I first got them, but I’m happy to leave them to look after themselves. Ā The mini daffs were a punnet from Aldi a few years ago.

    Hi all

    Lovely pictures @Pat E
Just had to stop our soon to be ex neighbour chucking a load of rubbish into our orchard.

I asked him why they were leaving, he replied something like, I don't want my youngest growing up around people like you. My reply, what you mean law abiding, that certainly got him riled.
He is a bully, but can't cope when people stand up to him.
