I saw that @Obelixx - I think it was on Countryfile.  But v. small scale, it needs a concerted effort on the part of local authorities and central government to invest in the kind of processes that can use this.

It's a new product @didyw.  Exposure on Countryfile will help it along and I dare say the National Trust, English Heritage, the RHS, RSPB, Environment Agency and any other big groups that plant tree by the thousand will be keen to adopt it.

I do hope you are right @Obelixx.  But there's so much more that could be done - insulation, packaging, mattresses...

Wool insulation is widely available even in ordinary DIY stores. Dalefoot have been selling compost based on sheep wool and bracken, both waste products for hill farmers,  for around 10 years now.

Evening all. Hope you are all ok.

Something awful happening in Plymouth this evening - sounds like the incident is still ongoing. Multiple fatalities suspected. Terrible.

    Stay safe everyone.

On a lighter note, little niece staying over this weekend so been thinking of some crafts and games to do. Just set up a new duvet and bedding for her - bugs and butterfly theme!

It may be that someone shot his family and others who got in the way, then shot himself.  Ambulances and police are still there I think.

Good morning … waving at you from a comfy bed beneath the eves of a stone cottage, listening to the jackdaws on the church tower and the chimes of the church clock.
The lawn has been cut, the hedge has been trimmed, shed painting starts shortly … but first  ☕️  🥓 🍳

Have a lovely day folks, and remember, while there is much sadness in
the world, it is reported in the news because it is unusual.
There is much more kindness and happiness around … we all see it every day, but because it is the norm it goes unremarked upon … perhaps it shouldn’t.
    Remember the RTBC thread 😃 🤗 ❤️
