Up and about. Getting ready for my run….well after my cuppa!!
Yesterday I finally learned what species one of the trees in our garden is, it was the last one to be figured out. It’s a lilac tree, which make me very happy. But sadly I think it may have lilac blight…..or something
Got bitten on my little finger and it itches like mad

Good morning everyone.   We have some cloudy bits but they will pass and we'll get to 28C.  SM raid day today and no doubt lots of tourists in there again.   After that, 2 lamp bases to paint and some planting to do.

Pleased you've had some rain @Pat E.   No impending visits from son and cat then?

I like take-off and landing @chicky but the rest is very tedious.  We have lots of France we want to explore when Possum is in a better space to be left behind in charge of cats, chooks and dogs.

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever you're doing.  Hugs for all with aches, pains and worries.

Volunteer day for me too, but it's a damp and drizzly start.  Not great.

Morning folks, grey and damp looking now, although we woke up to sunshine earlier.
OH took the car in early for its MOT/service whilst I had a bit of a lie in. Need to finish my coffee and do some h/w..k. Been out so much the house has been neglected. I also need to tackle the garden - also neglected lately. Pondering whether to take out the majority of my dwarf box hedging, I've got metres of it and am now finding it a bit too much to cope with. Decisions, decisions.
    Right, ironing first I think.
Glad you enjoyed your first Garden Club outing @Chicky, not sure when ours are restarting.
Shame about the Canberra lockdown, that will be a pain for your son @Pat E.

Apparently the best weather today will be in Lincolnshire  ... and we're just about to leave and head for there ... shed painting weather .... we've just done our Covid tests and we're both clear so just got to load the car now ... picked some runner beans for MIL.

    Good morning!

Blue skies, nothing but blue skies do I see.....

Hot again and rather muggy today.  Did a @Nanny Beach this morning - up at the crack of dawn.  Repotted 4 gerberas and planted a lavender bush under the olive tree. Swept up stray leaves plus a bit of gardening and was out of the house by 8.30am. Cooked some lentils with lots of spices, carrot, onion, turnip and fennel for a salad at lunchtime.  With a green salad and some fruit - that should be fine.  (Not forgetting some chocolate for afters!!)  Now relaxing under the pergola with a coffee.  Cool.

    Have an enjoyable day everyone.
