Morning folks, dish washer, and washing on, unfortunately, think it's going to be the tumble dryer today. Short sharp showers yesterday. Hubby managed to get the eucalyptus pruned and shredded. Did some tidying up, planted another row of peas, I grew from seed.

Good morning early birds @Nanny Beach @Dovefromabove and well @Pat E we all know what time it is there!!  Hello!

Going to be a nice day although the temperature is way cooler than what August should be.  Tomato tart for lunch today, might go the whole hog and put some anchovies on it!!

Neighbours back today and our poor nursing neighbours certainly have their work cut out for them when they return to work tomorrow.  An explosion of cases in Beziers hospitals - who is surprised?  Stay inside and wash your hands!!  The worst is yet to come.

Playful swallows putting on a show for me this morning!

    Have a good day everyone.

    Good Morning everyone.
Washing in the Machine on but like @Nanny Beach it will be the tumbler.
D wants to cut the Hedge roadside, I hate that. It isn’t even our Hedge!!!!
Supposed to go to Marsk Beach later as D wants to do some open water swimming.
I shall be knitting another pair of socks while I STILL wait for my Yarn to arrive from Denmark. It’s supposed to be delivered tomorrow
    Have a great day

Good morning Forkers.   Rain overnight but sunny just now and clouds set to clear away later but stay cool at 20C.   Fine by me as I have the oak sideboard to scrub with wax and polish remover then rinse, let dry and wax or oil.   Did the other 2 oak units yesterday so they're dry and ready to be fed.  So exhausted after yesterday's efforts I slept 9 hours.  Looking forward to some gardening on Tuesday.  Patch tomorrow.

We have a swallow's nest with babies in our garden shed!  How did that happen?  We leave the door closed most of the time.  And why can't they nest in the ruin which has space for hundreds and open access points to north and south?  I even put up 3 swallow nest cups I'd been given!

Lots of other birds about and busy.  So are the chooks but not yet feathered up enough to lay more eggs.

Cycling is on at the moment.  I do not understand who comes up with all the different ways there are to ride round a velodrome.

Hi Dove and Tui and everyone else. Like you, Dove, I’m going to be a bit lost after today with the Olympics finishing.  At least we don’t have to wait long for the bike race around Spain.  👏👏.

Well silvisherr,I change our bedding on Sundays,it's incredibly windy and sunny,it's done and out.figuring it should be dried pretty quickly, even if we get showers later.
