What an awful day, it hasn't stopped raining. It's absolutely pouring down at the moment. Lashing against the windows and hammering on the conservatory roof. Its quite dark too, we've put the lamps on 😕 @Songbird-1 that's one of my pet hates.... to iron the valance. 🤦🏻♀️
To me ironing is a necessary evil. I only iron clothes that are really creased and flat sheets . Fitted sheets have to stay crumpled ,can’t be bothered fighting with the elasticated area .
I did use the hot metal on a T-shirt 2 weeks ago - the first I've done for 4 years. It will probably be at least another 4 years before I do that again.
