I hope you enjoy Bletchley Park @Topbird. I've never been. My mother worked there, decoding in the war. She was in the WRENS. She should have got a medal but it was a secret so they couldn't give out medals.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Chive I hope your mum is more rested overnight and she’s having some painkillers. Busy glad you had a good, although a shame about the journey. Topbird you certainly need eyes everywhere with the little people. They must have enjoyed it though. Ante how lovely having friends visit from Austria. I’m glad you’ve had a good time. The rain is saving watering efforts here but have quite some weeding to do when it clears. LB let’s have a cuppa like Woodstock and Snoopy. I tried a Parsley *** meal today from mum and dad after visiting this morning. It was chicken in tomato and basil with rice. I enjoyed it. Topbird enjoy Bletchley how interesting. Ante your national parks are beautiful enjoy your time. Ante a lovely picture of your pets together.
Afties all. Busy, I was fascinated to hear that your Mum had been a decoder at Bletchley during the war. All those wonderful women who never seem to get enough recognition or praise and who quietly worked in the background. Its good to know that women were rated for their lateral thinking skills when it came to code breaking.
Well it has poured down all day here and apart from doing a bit of work in the garage I have been confined to barracks so have made the most of the final bits of the Olympics. The bird feeders need filling again but my feathered friends will have to wait until the rain stops before I venture out.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Hello Hazel, you snuckered in there. I meant to ask if you were happy with your new mattress (if you've got it yet) as I know you mentioned you had gone for one.
