Chive and Rosie, I hope that Nell and Alfie are feeling better now.
I came home an hour ago. My backs are tight a bit. I must go tomorrow early at morning again. There was so much to do and I didn't finished it all. Now late dinner and tea and then bed. My small harvest. Those red veggies on the left are summer radish. My sister brought me that seeds last summer.
We do like a gossip π Goodnight LB enjoy the brainiac session, Ante Those vegetables all look so delicious, the red summer radish are a beautiful colour. Rest yourself tonight in preparation for the work ahead tomorrow,Β Hope Biglad is ok, signing out too now Goodnight everyone.Β
Started a new job today so I'll probably be checking in less frequently over the next 10 weeks.
The garden will be getting neglected as well but needs must!
I noticed (when pegging out and bringing in the w***ing) that the newly flowered cornflowers seem to be particularly attractive to flies. Is that a quality of cornflowers? Β
Hello everyone. (T'Bird 03:19 this morning - ended up watching the Men's 200m heats. So sorry for Gemili. Our sailors did well in the 49ers)
Ante, your veggie arrangement is good enough to be a still life work of art. They look wonderful! Just be careful you don't hurt your back too much before the big harvest.
Hope that Hazel is OK. Good to see you Biglad. Cornflowers are attractive to lots of flying creatures and make good food for the useful pollinators.
Thought for the Day
Never
sing in the shower! Singing leads to dancing, dancing leads to
slipping, and slipping leads to paramedics seeing you naked. So
remember. Don't sing!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable

Good morning SGL. Thank you for the offer but I have already got a cuppa on the go. Its looking a bit sunnier than yesterday so I might get the inside of the front hedge cut -Β I will be able to fill up my half size bin for the first time this year unless I can squish yesterday's clippings down in the big bin.
