Hello everyone not read back, just popped in to say brother is slightly improved today.ย
Difficult news today as my middle daughter, mom to George and Maisie, has today seen a neurologist and been diagnosed with MS after some worrying symptoms led to an MRI. Feeling rather shell shocked and drained after a difficult night.ย
Take care everyoneย
Debs ... that's such difficult news to take on board.ย All I can say is that my best friend's daughter was diagnosed with MS when she was at Uni ... that must be around 25 years ago ... despite glitches and setbacks she got a good degree, had a career (opting for work that she could do at her own pace) met and married a lovely chap and now has three gorgeous children.ย She'll say that some days are better than others, but with the help of medics etc she and her husband have found a lifestyle and system that works for them and their family and they have a happy productive life.ย I really hope that your daughter finds a positive way forward.ย ย

We've had another shower early doors but only enough to re-wet the ground. We'll be getting more this week and I'll be thinking that I need a bigger butt ย
Morning Dove & Biglad, Thatโs a great picture thank you LB, Iโm sure there is a lot of truth to those words ๐ yes I have one sister & one brother, sis lives in Buckinghamshire so she will have more time to visit hopefully ๐
Bluebells Your rose is beautiful, what a lovely sight to see ๐ Hazel Sounds like you had a fun game with 23, what a great imagination he has ๐ค Thank you yes we will have a celebration when we can all get together, sis is 60 next month so a double event ๐ฅณ Off to see mum this morning, have a good day everyone.ย
Good morning Dove, Biglad and Hazel. Hazel, I hope that you have some time to rest today after your very broken night. Rain was similar here Biglad - just a tempting dribble. Chive have a nice, chatty catch up with your Mum.
Back to the dance!

@Songbird-1 sorry to hear you had a broken nights sleep.ย I did that a couple of weeks ago, I was convinced it was almost time to get up and it was only 2.30. Thought I'd been asleep for hours ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ Thank you Hazel, so looking forward to seeing them. They have great imaginations don't they ๐ they make you forget this awful year for awhile.ย Hope your throat is better now.
Morning all - going to head into the garden for a couple of hours before (hopefully) Marti arrives.
Bluebells - what a lovely rose. I do hope it has a scent to match it's colour๐
Debs - sorry to hear about your daughter. As Dove said, many people live full and happy lives with just a few bumps along the way. My friend was diagnosed 2 years ago but so far has only minor symptoms which are well managed with very little mdication. I hope it's the same for your daughter.
I was another one in the wide awake club at 3am. Sleepless nights are draining aren't they?
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
I'm watching men's gymnastics. OH has gone to B&Q to look at loft ladders. I didn't go with him as the Beeb said they were showing dressage at 11am, they showed one horse.
Yesterday it rained quite hard, glad we didn't go to Norwich. A friend came round with some irises, could be Sibirica, she'd ben thinning them out. I don't have much room for them, I hope they won't mind shade all afternoon. Though this summer there has been shade a lot of the time.
