Nothing major to report after inspection here. It's been threatening, it's started to spot but Marti has been playing the hokey-cokey all morning ;) I even got the lawnmower out and did the back lawn to try and tempt some proper rainfall. Didn't work.

Absolutely tipping with rain. We had thought of going to Norwich but @Dovefromabove told us it's Norwich Day so we changed our minds, don't want lots of people when OH has a mobility scooter.

I've been wanting to watch dressage from the Olympics but I can't find it. We have to watch it on iPlayer, no signal or satellite here. What are you watching it on @Dovefromabove?

Hello everyone not read back, just popped in to say brother is slightly improved today.
Difficult news today as my middle daughter, mom to George and Maisie, has today seen a neurologist and been diagnosed with MS after some worrying symptoms led to an MRI. Feeling rather shell shocked and drained after a difficult night.
    Take care everyone

Oh my goodness Debs, I am deeply sorry to hear your sad news about your daughter. Such a difficult thing to take on board. Fingers crossed she has the benign form and can carry on with her life as normal. I'm sure it will have hit the family very hard. Chin up Chuck. x

The dance worked as it is now raining - not extremely heavily but enough to wet all the plants.

Oh Debs I am so sorry about your daughters news .That must have been a dreadful shock to you and your family .Your daughter will need time to come to terms with her diagnosis. Sending my love .We are always here for you .
  • LB I love the Charlie Brown dancing.  It’s a while since I had a boogie.   I’m very pleased Lily’s feeling better.   A special companion.   Topbird thank you for letting me know about the chard.  Rubee I really hope the Botox injections remedy the headaches.  Chive Alfie stayed with me through the night and it was a much better evening.  Lily it’s good you slept well.  You can feel rather phased when you’ve gone without sleep.  Debs sorry to hear news of your daughter being diagnosed with ms.  I do hope it’s a milder form.  Sending a hug.

I'm so sorry @debs64, sending sympathy, I hope it is very slow to develop.

Thanks @Dovefromabove, I saw it. I'd left the TV on. But I wish they had shown more. I would have liked to see Isobel Werth. In the past I would record dressage and watch 4 hours of it. It was my hobby in my 50s, though I only competed once.

We've finally got some proper rain :) It's gone dark and we had thunder earlier so I'm hoping for a good downpour to soak everything and fill up the butt ;)
