Such a shame - but of course he has to put his health first.  Does anyone watch the Strictly Takes Two (or whatever it's called) programme on BBC2? We used to watch it but it seems to have got screechier and screechier so we don't bother now.  I used to like choreography corner and looking at the new costumes but too much screech to get through for just those bits.

Oh .... we were only saying the other day that since Rylan took over from Zoe it seemed to be a bit 'calmer' and we really liked Janette Manrara hosting.  Mind you we don't watch it every day ...

I used to watch it every day but not now. I do record it to see what's in the programme which is how l found out that Robert had left.
I felt that because Janette knows the professional dancers so well she seemed to be interviewing them to the exclusion of their partners, l particularly noticed it when she interviewed Robert and Diane last week. She is still pretty new to it all though.
    I do like Rylan  :)

I find it more interesting when they talk to the pros as much or even more than to the celebs  ... they can explain more/better  ... the celebs get plenty of other chances to chat ... and it was so funny when Janette interviewed Aljaz.  😂

I know what you mean @Dovefromabove, but when she was talking to Diane, they went off in conversation leaving Robert just sitting there and he was too polite and self effacing to interrupt.
I'm sure Greg Wise would have handled it differently  B)

I thought that Robert was quiet too ... but in hindsight I wonder whether there was already the hint that there may be a problem and that he might not be returning this week ... it might have been difficult for him to talk about something he knew may not happen ... I get the impression he's a pretty honest sort of chap and not the sort to dissemble.

I'm sure Greg Wise would've handled it differently  :/  I'm not totally convinced that it was an accident when Karen socked him one 🤣

  • @didyw I'm with you all the way on that one,Zoe was a bit mad,but this is just too ott, just cant watch it. Mind you I would like to know whats going through Vickys head, some of the jive costumes have been dreadful, and It was almost as though Judi was wearing the same thing, beaded fringed,it was very similar to one already worn.
