I'm wondering if Ugo's back problem is really hampering them and limiting Oti's usually great choreography ... it's a shame if that's what's happening ... he's a great personality

I like Tess but Craig's put down was quite good. I thought that Ugo looked as if his back was playing up as he went up the stairs to talk to Claudia last night, Shirley seems quite adamant that a "vertical spine" is quite important I wish that I had one, as Pam Ayres might have said, Oh! I wish I'd looked after me back!
Just read a worrying story that Bruno wants to return to the judging panel. I just hope they don't try to get rid of Anton to get him back on.
I only started watching the series this week and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the performances. Even those with lower scores weren't "no hopers", as has so often been the case in previous years where one or two of the celebs were clearly only there to get their faces back on TV, and had no interest in actually trying to dance properly.
I think Bruno is coming back to judge on the arena tour, my Dad said something about it being announced on the One Show last week? As long as Anton's judging on the TV show that's fine by me. I'm assuming (hoping) that Bruno will go back to the States to join Dancing with the Stars when the next series begins.
Yes I read that in the week @KT53 Apparently he's doing a tour at the moment, but hopefully they will keep Anton as judge. Bruno got on my nerves with all his flouncing about 🙄 Think the right one went tonight. Was surprised to see one couple in the dance off though.
The BBC might not have a choice about Bruno returning. It depends on the contract.
There could be all sorts of clauses in any contracts for people who appear on their top programmes. This is classed as "sensitive commercial information," so we'd never know.
But as it wouldn't be for nearly a year before he would return and a lot of things could happen in the meantime, maybe they will have a choice.
Anton seems popular with the viewers so as their main concern is ratings, he's likely to be retained. They don't need five judges, or do they?
Loved Rose and Giovanni this week, and the two boys. And AJ's Argentine tango was very good too - a great use of those legs. Found myself watching Oti rather than Ugo in their dance (she's really rather good!). So not surprised at the result. That was a lovely clip @Doghouse Riley thank you for sharing it.
Lots of good performances and choreography this week. I thought Craig was very mean with Sara and she deserved better marks. I never did understand his preference for a raunchy rumba. Much better when it's romantic. The right one went out.
Good to see AJ back on form. Loved J and JJ's dance and I think Rose is brilliant, including her offhand way with Giovanni. Dan did well but agree with the judges about using his legs better.
I didn't think Rhys' Foxtrot was slow enough and there was too much dancing apart. He needs to learn poise and posture are a more important component of dance than frenetic speed or he'll be in trouble with a rumba or English waltz.
