He’s an archaeologist … I’ll listen to him on archaeology … that doesn't mean he has any common sense or make him an arbiter of public morals.

Why do folk give such credence to the views of ‘celebrities’ ? 🙄

I wonder if we could have a reverse colonial arrangement so we could have Jacinda Ardern for PM?
A lot of politicians seem to have a reverse colonial arrangement. That's why they talk a lot of 💩

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Maybe the Maoris should have had a tougher immigration policy a couple of hundred years ago?

    Immigration or irrigation? Colonial irrigation.

I'm quite into history programmes but I've had a problem with him since he used to be on Coast. When he's on, we get lots of pictures of him staring wistfully out to sea, which I have no interest in, and very little time looking at whatever he was talking about. So I mentally labelled him 'egotistical p**t' and stopped watching anything he was in. Seems he hasn't changed.

I much prefer Alice Roberts  :)
