Indeed so and a very dodgy " first past the post " system where 43% of voters produce a huge majority.

I'm not defending Boris and his proclivities.

We all know he's a liar with a short attention span who cares not a hoot for the consequences to others of his careless words and actions.   The majority the Tories enjoyed at the last election was garnered in great part from disaffected Labour voters.  After all, you can only vote for people standing for election and in this case it was clearly a case of the devil they knew being someone they wanted out.

As far as I am concerned, everything about that buffoon is irresponsible. surely he will go down as the worst leader this country has ever had.
I concur. He's a proven liar and yet the brainwashed Blue carry on voting for him.

In the UK people more often than not vote for - or against - a political party rather than the person leading the party at the time.  That clearly wasn't the case when Corbyn was leading Labour as his political views quite simply terrified most people.
Boris certainly has to be up or down there amongst the worst leaders we've had.

You may as well get used to the 'first past the post' system because no party which has been elected using it is ever going to change it.  There have only been 2 General Elections in the past 100 years where a party has won more than 50% of the votes.  In both cases Conservative wins in the 1930s.

How's this for curmudgeonly? Tumbling Toms are way too prolific. I've had to abandon a couple of large plants on the pavement outside for passers by to take.
