Boris hasn't been in power 10 years.  He's there because of a failure of Labour and despite being known to be a liar, having a short attention span and no head for detail.  He's made some horrendous blunders but he does also have some visions about where the UK could be.  Unfortunately he's also blind to the needs and predicament of the poor and badly educated and badly paid - which do not always go hand in hand - who are not all hapless and undeserving.

Having visions is all well and good .... I suspect many of us have visions about where the UK could be .... it's someone with the ability to get us back onto the right path, let alone move some way along it, that we're lacking at the moment. 🙄

That too @Dovefromabove.  Don't want any more visions like that garden bridge!

Boris seems to me to blind to everyone's needs except his own. In that respect, he's very equality minded.

Labour can't be elected as long as Scotland don't vote for them - the Parliamentary maths make it almost impossible.

That's a relief in a way @raisingirl given their shower but if you really want balance you're going to have to adopt PR.  Trouble is that the Belgian experience shows that you eventually get a balanced shower of self-serving eejits.   On the other hand, the country does muck along remarkably well when they take 13 months to form a government.

That wasn't even his vision ... he just did what an attractive blonde female friend told him to do ... https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2015/may/24/joanna-lumley-role-boris-johnson-thames-garden-bridge-london-thomas-heatherwick

Yes, but it seems to have sparked a desire for big infrastructure projects and technology.   Fine if well researched and planned and costed but not if they all go down the same toilet as that bridge.

Can't comment on his proficiency as a comedian. I've never seen him.@KT53
Political correctness isn't his strong point :#  If you can get past his obsession with paedophile and disability jokes though (or just find them funny) then he comes up with some real gems.

Ah but Bojo's popularity relies on him distancing himself from the rest. He's got messy hair, you see. Not like all those others. Not at all. I suppose there isn't a lot of overlap between his cabinet and the previous ones. We're down to the dregs. The one mercy is Chris Failing has been left out. I have this dread feeling every time another one gets caught with his pants down (literally or metaphorically) that Failing will reappear to b**x up something else
