Good morning Chive and Ruby. I am hoping to make a SM dash first thing and then it is the garden for me. Bestie gave me rooted pieces of plants from her Mum's garden and I need to find places for them. Whatever you are doing today, have a good one.
p.s. morning Dove, you weren't there when I posted.

Good morning everyone, just for a change its raining this morning 😭
Everything is certainly very green and growing like mad.
Hi @Ante30 good to see you. Glad your sister is well.
@debs64 enjoy your massage. Good that fiancè is busy.
@Ladybird4 love Snoopy. Is it today you're meeting friends for lunch. If so have a lovely catch up.
@Chivetalking is it a work day or are you at home today.
When I came down this morning and opened the lounge door, I was greeted with the beautiful smell of the sweet peas I picked yesterday. 🤗
    Have a lovely day everyone

I was very pleased to see that the Olympic flame arriving in Tokyo was in the form of a miner's lamp. It made me wonder where mine was. I am positive I have a black hole in my house, into which things disappear never to be seen again.

Good morning SGL. You snuckered in there. Oh that wonderful sweet pea smell. Its always a memory trigger. Our next meal out is in August SGL, Bestie chose the venue for our next 'meet up' and got it booked yesterday. Will you be seeing the Poppets this weekend?

Morning @Dovefromabove you weren't there just now. Hope your needles arrive today.
@Chivetalking have a lovely time with your mum.
@Ladybird4 hope you get everything at SM. We have a delivery today, when adding something last night, we noticed a message saying they didn't have any new potatoes 🤦🏻‍♀️
Think we have one of those black holes too, or a ghost 😂
How lovely to have some plants from your friends mums garden.
    Have a good day everyone

Oops @Ladybird4 yes seeing the poppets tomorrow 😍😍😍
  • Ante it’s good that rain is forecasted and your sister is well.  It will be good for you to see her.  Biglad I have a teddy.  😁 You’re never too old.  LB good to have a full water butt.  Garden is also looking very green here.  I’m accompanying dad for his ECG today, not far to go.  Hazel my last bedding plant is weathered now and not looking happy.  It didn’t like the brief high temperature and wouldn’t have lasted as long if we had had a sunnier summer.  Chive Alfie has been bathing in the window. He loves it there.  Debs hope the catering goes well for your fiancé.  Enjoy the massage.

    Good morning all.

Enjoy seeing the poppets @star gaze lily. How lovely to be able to smell sweet peas. I have trouble growing them in France, too hot, and I was never there enough to pick them often.

I had my hair cut this morning with my favourite girl, I'm very pleased with it.

We are off to Morrisons for the weekly shop.

I think there are black holes in my house too @Ladybird4, also in my head. When I forget something it's like groping about in a black cupboard in my brain!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

The sun is shining! And it's now very hot. I've done all my bits indoors, went to our village with OH to get his hair cut and we're now going to have our lunch in the garden.
Hope you're all having a lovely day.

I've just had a message that eldest Poppet coughed at school and has been sent home. I'm sure it's probably just a normal cough, but her mummy is taking her for a test.
