Good morning Ruby and Dove. Debs the programme starts at 18:30 on ITV but there will no doubt be a lot of pre match chatter from the pundits. Only guessing but actual kick off may be 19:00. Ruby, I'm supposed to be going across the road to help with the 50th anniversary decorations for the Flower Club meal (which should have been last year) at 19:00 so I will endeavour to sneak off after a short while to catch some of the match. I have already supplied gold ribbons, buttons, butterflies and gold card from my craft stash as each member is going to have a decorated bottle with a single gold rose in it in their table placement. Glad all went easily at the Dentist's Dove.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Very public spirited of you @Ladybird4 as you are such a keen sports fan. Fingers crossed you get a good result, I don’t personally care about football but it’s nice to see people so excited and cheerful. Even if they do wake me up coming out of the pub shouting. My fault for living near a pub but to be fair the customers are usually very good. The excitement on Saturday obviously went to their heads
It is a lot of talking @debs64 I'll be tuning in at about 7.45pm
I've found these holes on my morning patrol. Three entry/exit points for a critter that fancies a mooch around the broad beans and strawberries housed within I couldn't find any major damage. Maybe some munching on the lower leaves but I can't imagine something making the effort to get in with no reward. I may take the cage off completely for a full inspection when Marti buggers off!
OH checked the batch numbers @Ladybird4, that's how he knew.
I'm glad you weren't in pain after the dentist @Dovefromabove. My dentist is the best, he's my son! Also he won a prize for his thesis on implants and came top in practical dentistry at Bordeaux Uni. Excuse the boasting rom a proud mother.
I slept better last night, the cockerel sounded further away. I wonder if he is one of the ones that someone dumped in the lane by the pub? Most were caught. One was in our garden last week, a scrawny bantam. Maybe it wasn't an unsociable neighbour acquiring a noisy bird.
We are going out to lunch in a local pub today with a couple of our best friends here. I haven't seen them for a year, though OH has as they were kind to him while I was stuck in France.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
LB yes I’m so relieved Alfie is okay after his fall. The chocolate brownies will be delicious. I love the psychic sausage dog video. I would have gone for the lasagne as well. Great happy Wednesday daisy video. Dove world chocolate day and I’ve no chocolate at home. I’ll have to have a yogurt instead. Hazel I woke up early but I had a snooze, love the cartoon. Hopefully you feel better for it.
Busy how lovely to have your son as your dentist .One of our friend was a dentist at our practice .It was always good to get his opinion before we turned up for our appointment .unfortunately he has gone home to Sarawak .Big Lad what a shame that your netting has been attacked .I wonder which creature it was ?Morning Hazel love the cartoon . I will have to pop out and harvest more strawberries before the slugs get them .
@Songbird-1 Hazel 23 will be excited to find another fairy. It will be exciting visiting grandma and grandpa. I love cosmos and always good to go to the gc and bring back something new. Alfie gave himself quite a shock. As you say, we do worry about them but, he’s happy in himself and curled up in the barrel, thankfully.

KO tonight is 8pm. They're going for a long build-up to complete hysteria, obviously
