Been a very dull day weather wise here today . I have a jungle for a garden . Done a lot of boring indoor stuff, necessary ,but I dont like it .I am making a bed throw from a lot of my stash of knitting wool .l can’t sit down and do nothing for long .I was reading a few minutes ago that we are going to have a heatwave soon . 20 degrees C is enough for me . signing out . Have a good evening everyone .
I saw that little dog on Breakfast TV @Ladybird4, I would have chosen the same.
Thank you all for your sympathy. I'll stay in England for the moment but I have to be back in France for my new grandson's christening on the 28th August. My 14th grandchild. Not sure if OH will be able to come as one of his Covid jabs was the AZ one from India that the French don't accept.
I went for a walk this afternoon, glad I wore wellies and took my mac.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Good morning all. Up early to clear dining room again for new floor. I am off work as working Saturday so going to my daughters later to help her do more in the garden. And see my littlest grandson!
Why did you not want Italy to win LB? I expect you are excited about tonight.
Good morning everyone. I'm afraid I gave up when it got to extra time and suspected there might be a penalty shoot out. That winning penalty shot - my Granny could have saved that if she was still around. Tonight's the night! I hope everyone has a marvellous Wednesday.
Oh Busy, the best laid plans and all! Has your OH checked which batch of the serum he was injected with as one AZ serum is accepted by France and one isn't. The British made Vaxzevria is accepted whilst the Indian made version Covishield isn't. The batch number can be found on his vaccination card next to the name of the vaccine used.
The numbers of the batches not approved by the European Union are 4120Z001, 4120Z002 and 4120Z003.
If you can't find the batch number this will help
NHS
app users in England and Wales can check their batch number on the app,
which has been adapted for the purpose of allowing people to show proof
of vaccination when travelling
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning Debs and all to arrive later. Debs it was SGL that wanted Spain to win - I wasn't worried either way but I will be excited tonight. Hope all goes well with the new flooring today and have a lovely time at your daughter's. I think there may be a lot of distractions from the gardening with a certain small person!

Sorry LB I mixed up the football fans! It’s supposed to rain so playing with Thomas indoors will be tempting but I really need to get daughters roses in and weed thoroughly. All furniture is now moved and I need a quick shower before floor man arrives. Hoping he is a football fan so hurries up. What time is the match tonight?
Good morning everyone .Debs enjoy your gardening with your daughter .LB enjoy your footie tonight and of course tennis today .Ilove the animated pic ,it’s so cheerful.
Hello all … thanks for your kind wishes … two fillings and an upper molar extraction and no pain … not then nor later on … despite the dentist considering using block & tackle plus dynamite (it did not want to let go!).
Im a very lucky Dove 😊 A quiet day in the studio today … after that Wimbers and Wembley.
Apparently according to my milkman it’s World Chocolate Day today!!! We should’ve had more warning 🍫
