    Afternoon all,

You guessed it - it's crackin' flags 'ere! I hope we both get some rain soon @Ante30

No football for a couple of days so it's all about the tennis ;)

We enjoyed our lunch in the pub. We both had pasta with prawns and smoked salmon in a creamy dill sauce. Then I had orange pannacotta with red berry compote and OH had sticky toffee pudding. I've felt sleepy ever since. Maybe I need to go for a walk, but it keeps drizzling.

    Good evening to all.

Biglad, I hope that you get some rain, chances are very low here.

One more hot day is almost over. I'm a man who likes low temperature so don't ask how I survive this. I watched on the news about heat wave in Canada. Poor people, it was 49.6℃ on the west coast. .
It's time for dinner, I'll have something light.

Evening all. I managed to get some gardening done between tennis viewing. I got 3 ferns and a tropaeolum speciosum which had seeded itself planted out and a currant bush potted up. I found this as a birdie gift so I'm not sure whether it's the fruiting variety or an ornamental one. Time will tell. Bin is out for tomorrow's collection. Milk bottle is on the step and the front door is now locked for the evening.
Ante, those temperatures are very scary and I believe that there have been some fatalities. If it gets over 20°C I am very uncomfortable.
Busy, both you and your OH's meals sound delicious. I would have gone for the sticky toffee pudding.
I am going through the angst of watching Andy Murray playing his latest match against Oscar Otte. It may take some time.
