Morning RosieBB, Debs and Dove. Have a lovely visit RosieBB. Debs - you little jockey!- you just know that when going to DA, coming home with a beautiful rose is inevitable. All go well at the hygienist the other day Dove? All scrubbed and polished until the next visit? I am still waiting for a call from a Dentist I have asked to join after my long time Dentist retired last September.

Morning Chive, you snuckered in there. You must break up for the Summer holidays soon Chive. Where I used to teach they break up in a fortnight. Have a super day with the small people.

I was really surprised yesterday at DA, overcast when we got there and the roses were gorgeous but no really strong scents. We had lunch and then the sun came out, what a difference the aromas filled the air in minutes. Much stronger scents and also more diverse. I hadn’t realised how much the sun affected them.
Yvie what a shame about your back, at least you enjoyed the holiday you had.
Happy Birthday 🎂 to Ruby’s OH. Hope you all have a good day.

Debs, I think that is one reason why it is recommended to pick lavender - for pot pourri and lavender bags - in the early mornings before the sun gets to the flowers as the essentials oils producing the scents are activated and released by sunshine.

    Morning all,

I've had an early potter and not much to report. No evidence of Shaun visits or Cyril suppers. Plus no new feline deposits whilst I was out all day yesterday :)

One of the few blackcurrants on my new bushes has fallen though :( There aren't that many but if a bird has done it, I may have another 'cage' to cobble together.

Definitely more armchair than garden today, @Ladybird4 ;)

Thanks @Chivetalking ☕☕☕ just finishing my third before I get out there ...

All scrubbed and polished thanks @Ladybird4 ... but she managed to dislodge another bit of the ropy tooth dentist is going to fill next week ... he'll have to mix up a bit more polyfilla.
