@LG_ I recently discovered that a friend from my class in school was made a Dame and manages the LSO. I am so proud! 🤣 Success by proxy! I'm glad your children are still following their musical journey. I used to love reading about them when I was here years ago.
Gosh, well remembered! One of them is now going into her third year at conservatoire (still home at the mo, ready for a concert at the Cadogan Hall next week), t'other is doing A levels but planning to study music. Your old friend sounds like an amazing woman 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

She is. Even at the tender age of eleven or twelve her musical potential was obvious. Of course she went on to play Maria in the school's version of TSOM. A very talented lady.
