I second lots of those IG accounts mentioned above (and thanks for the new ones), and can I also add @clausdalby, a charming Dane who specialises in colourful pots. His videos are lovely!

My IG a/c: @janiebarringer (really a photo-diary for me to know what I'm doing in the garden from one year to the next!)

    Just followed you @Loxley

On Insta, I also follow Nigel Dunnett, Dan Pearson / Dig Delve, My Real Garden, Adam Frost, Carol Klein, j.d.frei / stadtwildpflanzen, James Wong, Jimi Blake, Edward Flint, Arit Anderson, Diarmuid Gavin, Charles Dowding, Huw Richards, Jack Wallington, Chelsea Physic Garden, Sarah Price, RHS Wisley, Andy Sturgeon, York Gate, More About Plants, Richard Wilford, Beth Chatto... and quite a few others.

I use Twitter for other purposes so don't really follow gardeners on there much.

Here is a couple more accounts that haven't been mentioned. I am also a huge fan of Pinterest for planting and design ideas, don't really follow any gardening accounts on there so just use the search function same as you would on google.

I'm not on Insta, Twitter or much social media but I am personally interested in gardeners, designers, wildlife 'gurus' that you make a point of following. I am, more recently, making a point of subscribing to certain Youtube channels, for those makers whose vids give good value and education most of the time.

    These include
    • The Bealtaine Project - following in detail the 17 year transition of three acres of boggy fields into a cottage garden plot
    • Bunny Guinness - all round design, veg gardening, tips, and thoughts she brings from working with clients for 30 years. I like her a lot. Very easy to watch.
    • The RED gardens project - a food growing project in Tipperary, Ireland.
    • Great Dixter - Fergus' insights and lectures. It's the one place I visit to do courses in person.

Which teachers, experts, innovators do you find give good value in what they share online?

    😂  My thoughts exactly!

Twitter and Insta are a complete mystery to me, and I am happy in my ignorance.  😎
  • To explain … there was a Spam post this morning and it is that Pansyface and Viewahead were responding to … not Fire’s post. 😊

    its been zapped now. 👍
