DidyW, the site I looked at said pond or bog, there was a different variety you could put indoors. A tray of water wouldn't be an option, dogs, grandkids, open plan and laminate flooring, however it died anyway, obviously because it didn't get enough water.

Good morning everyone. We can see the snow that’s still on the ground but they say we are in for more.
The next photo is for Obelixx. Note the Roos in next door’s. paddock. They don’t seem particularly worried about the snow.

We found it interesting to see the solar panels on the shed roof. I guess they are getting a clean.

It’s nice and warm in here. 😁

We didn’t get the winds that our friends in Melbourne got last night where there are trees down and power lines out. They are moving to their SIL’s place for a couple days since they don’t want to be without power etc.

    Morning all.
Looks another lovely day but I'm taking my coffee back to bed.

The plumbers came last night and repaired a slight water leak in the downstairs loo. I think it came from the new shower pipe from the hot water tank so probably their fault. They also fitted my new gas hob and a wall light to go over my sewing machine desk. The old gas hob was awful, flames too hot and diamond shaped so you couldn't reach the saucepan on the back burner without risking a burn or scald if other pans were in front. Anyone know how to get Sellotape glue off stainless steel?

May do some weeding before it gets too hot.

Morning folks, well busy-l,a gas hob on your sewing machine! That's cool, save time getting up to cook when you are seeing. My oldest female child came round last Wednesday, brought me a whole bag of mending, including a black dress requiring a zip,I keep telling her I don't do zips, hate it,and not being funny, but I'm not forking out for one either! Did get up later than usual, had a job getting to sleep (bit get up after seeing DR and now awaiting consultant) Got to go shopping very soon, such massive roadworks, have to do a several miles detour. Have a good day

@Busy-Lizzie my son used to be involved with antiques ... he says the best thing to get that sticky residue off of something without scratching is to use peanut butter ... yes, peanut butter ... apparently all the porcelain and silver dealers use it.  I have tried it and it works ... you have to be patient, but it works.

Cooler morning here today .....so less watering needed.  Good job as I need to get moving - today is volunteering day.

Spent yesterday doing past papers and generally frying my brain 🤯.  Will be mighty glad when these exams are over and I can get back out in the garden .....bit ironic that I now understand exactly what is going on out there, but have no time to put it into practice.

Glad Tuesday went well @punkdoc .....good to share memories of Mum with others who knew her.  @Biglad has had me chuckling .....and its not even 8am yet 🤣🤣.

Cool to see Aussie outback snow .....waiting for the snowman pics @Pat E ⛄️ 😀

Chicky, there’s no way that I’ll be playing in snow. I’d rather look at it from the distance of the veranda, thanks!  😳😁

We are expecting more snow tonight I think.  We might not go to town for our usual Friday shopping etc. and Monday is Queens birthday weekend public holiday, so probably lots of Sydney people coming through Cooma to get to the ski fields. Grrr.

On Wednesday is Hubby’s 6 monthly eye specialist visit in Canberra. Not looking forward to the trip, but there you go. Our daughter will do the Chauffeur stuff around parking issues.

Smooth ... not crunchy ... and definitely not with Marmite 😂
